| On Nov 27th 2010 we finally made our trip to Nanjing Tulou. A group of 50 people from different countries left Xiamen in an early Saturday morning and arrived Taxia village after three hours' drive, Taxia village was built alongside a stream in Song Dynasty which is more than six hundred years ago, it has a beautiful picture of "Tiny bridge, flowing brook, and cottages," and is praised as "Zhouzhuang in South Min".
It was a gloriously sunny day and we found ourselves among the green hills ,all kinds of fruit trees and of course the Tulou houses in different shapes. The principal of Taxia Primary school Mr Zhang guided us to walk through the narrow street, visited several old Tulou houses, we also enjoyed the local traditional food there.
One day is just too short for experiencing all these, and we all looking forward to another trip here.
